Aurora M. Casaus, age 90, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Thursday, September 18, 2003. Aurora was a resident of Albuquerque formerly of Cuba, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Ponciano Casaus; and a son, Johnny Casaus. Aurora is survived by her loving children, Rosie Casaus, Tita Gutierrez, Angie Casaus, and Arthur Casaus; twelve grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister Eloisa Gutierrez. Aurora will be greatly missed by her loving family. Aurora will lie in state Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM A rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p.m. also at the church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetey. Casket bearers will be Jacob Gutierrez, Antonio Chacon, Gene Chacon, Daniel Gutierrez, Phillip Casaus, and David Casaus. Honorary bearers will be Perfecto Montoya and Rudy Montoya.
