Mela Tenorio, age 88, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday September 15, 2003. Survivors include her two sisters Rose Zamora and Cora Johnson, both of California; one brother, Pete Tenorio and wife Carolyn of Albuquerque and numerous nieces and nephews. Her long time companion John E. Riedle preceded her in death in February 2003. Mela retired from the Corps Of Engineers and she owned Mela's Ceramics. A memorial mass will be held Friday, September 19, 2003, 10:30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper NW.
