Obituary for DICKER

Frank W. Dicker, Lt. Col., US Army (ret), age 82, passed away in peace on Sunday, September 14, 2003 in Albuquerque. Frank, a resident of Albuquerque is survived by his wife, Dolores Dicker; sons, Michael Dicker of Albuquerque, Thomas Dicker of Tullahoma, TN, Paul Dicker of San Antonio, TX and Joseph Dicker of Albuquerque. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Frank was a decorated career soldier. As a WWII combat veteran, he served in Europe with the 8th Air Force as a B-17 crewmember in the elite 100th Bomb Group. Frank also served two combat tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, Frank worked with the Navajo Nation. Frank was a loving father and husband, adventurous, bold, and lived life to the fullest.
