Stanley Scott Shackelford, age 55, of Las Cruces died Monday, September 15, 2003 at his home. He was employed at WSMR as an Engineering Tech. Survivors include wife, Susan; son, Michael; daughter, Stacy Simpson all of Las Cruces; brothers, Donald and David; sisters, Martha Moss and Sandra Woodruff all of Mississippi and one granddaughter, Mackenzy Simpson. Calling hour will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2003 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Baca's Funeral Chapels, Las Cruces. Funeral Service Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3210 Venus with Bishop George Huffman, presiding. Concluding Services and Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 E. Montana Avenue, Las Cruces, NM 88005.
