Philip R. Evans, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maria; daughters, Judith Evans, Nancy Pressley and husband, Terry, Caroline Prothero and husband, Michael and grandson Michael Alexander; brother, Earl Evans and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant with 28 years in the United States Air Force, and retired from 13 years with the United States Postal Service. Philip was an avid golfer and gardener who will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, with a reception following at 4:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
