Arthur Scott Price of Scottsdale, AZ passed away Thursday, September 11, 2003. Scott was born in Artesia, NM on October 26, 1944. He grew up in Carlsbad, NM and moved to Albuquerque following his high school graduation. There he began his career in construction. In 1981, he moved to Arizona where he owned and operated a construction company until his death. He was an active member of North Scottsdale United Methodist Church. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Anne Price; and brothers, Reed and Stephen Price all of Carlsbad, NM. He is survived by his wife, Ginger; sons, Craig and wife, Sandy of Scottsdale and Garret of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Rachel Price also of Albuquerque; his wife's daughters, both of Carlsbad, NM, Rachelle Thompson and husband, Don, their children, Jacob, Julie, Blaine and Bryce; Christy Shoup and husband, David and their children, Kayley, Sydney and Gage. Scott was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2003, 6:30 p.m. at North Scottsdale United Methodist Church, 11735 North Scottsdale Road. Funeral Services will be held in Carlsbad, NM on Friday, September 19, 2003 11:00 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church. Reverend David McPherson of North Scottsdale United Methodist Church will officiate at both services. Contributions may be made on Scott's behalf to North Scottsdale United Methodist Church.
