Mrs. Ester C. Baca died Friday, September 12, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 91. Mrs. Baca was born in Tome and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She was a candy maker and retired when she was 78 years old. She enjoyed making candy during Christmas for neighbors, relatives and friends. She was a beautiful Christian person and loved by many. Mrs. Baca is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Baca; sisters, Adelicia Otero and Frances Aragon. She is survived by her stepsons, Gary Baca and Dave Baca; stepdaughter, Frances Salas; two special nieces, Petrita Kramer and Perla O. Martinez, and many other nieces and nephews; and a very dear cousin, Maria Davis. A Rosary for Mrs. Baca will be recited on Monday, September 15, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Otero, Odelio Otero, Conrado Otero, Ralph Aragon, Jose Santos Aragon and LeRoy Aragon. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third Street SW. 247-4124
