Brooks B. Kelly, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died Tuesday, July 7, 1998. He is survived by his brother, Jarrett Kelly of Charleston, WV; and sister, Genevieve Daugherty Brooks of Elk View, WV and Zelda Litton of Charleston, WV; and brother-in-law, Wyett McGinnis and wife, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Kelly in December 1992. He was a residence of Placitas for about 30 years. Mr. Kelly was a member of Las Placitas Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the Navy during WWII. Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, 6.5 miles east of I-25 on hwy. 165, with Rev. James P. Harmes officiating. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, Friday, 10:00 a.m. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
