Marianita Padilla Trujillo, 76, a resident of Lemitar/Albuquerque/Belen, went home on July 1, 1998. She was a recent resident of Sunrise Nursing Home in Belen. Mama was a beautiful flower that blossomed in all her glory. She always made us feel safe in her arms, reassuring us never to worry. A woman who gave from her heart unconditionally, never greedy with her outstretched hand, always willing to help the needy. But now the beautiful rose here on earth, has shone it's beauty one last time. She's at home now, with Jesus, looking down at us saying,"I'm doing just fine!" She is survived by her husband, Gregorio C. Trujillo Sr.; daughters, Veronica Trujillo and partner in life, Bernie Talmadge, Pati Terrazas and partner in life, Jeannie Borrego; and son, Gregorio C. Trujillo Jr. and wife, Bertha. Also surviving are sisters, Amy P. West, Aggie Cordova, Emena Silva and husband, Ramon; and brother, Felipe Padilla Jr. and wife, Lisa. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and so many loving nieces, nephews, dear relatives and friends that adored her.
