Obituary for Lopez

Frances Sena Lopez, passed away March 15, 1998. Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her husband, Mariano A. Lopez in 1987; three sisters, Pita Tafoya 1970, Mela Smith English 1983, Annie Bolton 1988; and her nephew, Eloy Lopez 1992. Frances, in her lifetime, worked for Hutchinson Fruit Company, Nabisco and Singer. Frances was well known and loved by the member of the American Legion Post 13 through her nephew, Tony Sena and wife, Jutta, a lifetime member, as well by many friends and neighbors. Frances was an aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt. She had numerous nieces and nephews. We want to express sincere thanks to Presbyterian Home Healthcare and St. Therese Church for taking such good care of her. Funeral services for Mrs. Lopez will be held on Wednesday at the St. Therese Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Sena Jr. and Tony Martinez. Visitation for Mrs. Lopez will be held on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd St. SW. am E. Lowe, of Dewey, Arizona, passed away on March 13, 1998. Mr. Lowe was born March 17, 1931 in Mangum, Oklahoma, the son of Shelby and Lorene (Helm) Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a loving husband and father, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He worked as a self-employed home repairman for many years. He never really retired from it, he enjoyed it. He also spent time as a volunteer at the VA Hospital. He enjoyed this work very much. Mr. Lowe married Mary McIntosth on January 20, 1950 in Gallup, NM. They moved from New Mexico in 1990 to Missouri. In 1991, they moved to Dewey, AZ. He is survived by his wife, Mary O. Lowe of Dewey, AZ; daughter, Laurice Dawn Monaco of Mesa, AZ; sons, Scott Lowe of Mountain View, CA and Steven Lowe of Albuquerque; and two grandchildren. Visitation was held Sunday, March 15, 1998, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Funeral services were held Monday, March 16, 1998, 2:00 p.m., at McKinney Cemetery, Mercer, MO, with Rev. Bob Hanson officiating. Sunrise Funeral Home, Prescott Valley, AZ, was in charge of the arrangements.
