Abby McClure Lucero Casaus, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away peacefully in her home on December 26, 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Casaus; her sons, Paul Casaus and Jesse James Casaus; and her daughter, Nancy Jane Casaus Mora. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Casaus Griego and her husband, Mario and Nicole Griego, her granddaughter; her daughter, Peggy Ann Casaus Moreno and husband, Ronnie; her son, Rudy Casaus and his wife, Elizabeth; and her daughter, Theresa Garcia and her husband, Robert. Also surviving are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Felycia Desiree Gutierrez and James Paul Gutierrez. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Louise Johnson and her husband, Ronnie; her brothers, Felipe Lucero and Fidel Lucero and his wife, Janet; and her special cousin, Sammy McClure; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 30, 1998, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse James Casaus, Tony Lucero, Bobby Quiroz, David Gonzales, Robert Lucero and Tim Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Lucero and John Ernie Aragon. Services entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, CFSP.
