Gwendolyn Watters Carlberg, 71, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died in Dallas, Texas while visiting her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Erika Rener of Dallas, TX; her sons, Michael D. Carlberg (Joann) of Albuquerque, Dr. Matthew A. Carlberg (Kirsten) of Ridgecrest, CA and Edwin J. Carlberg (Lynn) of Albuquerque. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin William Carlberg"Bill" in 1977. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 1998, 9:00 a.m., at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral. Ron Rener, Michael Carlberg, Matthew Carlberg, Edwdin Carlberg, Zach Rener and Joshua Carlberg will serve as pallbearers. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
