Cpt. Ronald Z. Shoemaker US Army, Ret., 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died Thursday, December 24, 1998. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Shoemaker and grandson, Shea Vick of Albuquerque; his son, Ronald Z. Shoemaker, Jr., wife, Jenny and granddaughter, Vicki Romero of Albuquerque; his mother, Pauline Shoemaker of Albuquerque; his sister, Charlene Raicevich and husband, Bob of St. Louis, MO; his brother, Ray Shoemaker of Albuquerque; his mother-in-law, Eleanore Carson of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Shoemaker was a member of the Retired Officers Association (National and Albuquerque Chapters), the New Mexico Association of Educational Retirees, and the American Legion. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, with Pastor Larry A. Wright officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in Mr. Shoemaker's memory.
