Obituary for Lermuseaux

Louie Lermuseaux, a resident of Vallecitos de los Indios, New Mexico passed away on Friday, October 9, 1998. Mr. Lermuseaux was born on Dec. 3, 1935 to Victor and Mildred Lermuseaux of Bernalillo, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor. Mr. Lermuseaux graduated from Our Lady of Sorrows in Bernalillo, served in the US Army and was retired from the Los Alamos Schools, where he was a carpenter foreman. He lived in the Jemez Mountains for 22 years, where he loved to hunt Elk and Deer and to garden. He is survived by his wife, Mignon of the Jemez and her family, Lee Caswell, Barbara Morris, Todd Caswell, Kim Caswell and Starr Caswell. In addition he leaves his grandson, Michael Brazfield and other grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Lermuseaux of Bernalillo; brother, Gene Lermuseaux and wife, Faye of Bernalillo; two sisters, Zaida Williams and husband, Bob of Bernalillo and Betty Kelley and husband, Melvin of Carlsbad, NM; 12 nieces and nephews; 17 grand-nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1998 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Louie's memory, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
