Obituary for Dickson

Gwendolyn W. Dickson, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Friday, October 9, 1998. She is survived by her daughters, Denis Norlander and husband, Bill and Dana McCausland all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Matthew McCausland of Albuquerque, Damon McCausland of Ft. Collins, CO, and Daniel Norlander of Albuquerque; and dear friends, Phil and Charlotte Dailey, Jan Cummings, and DeAnn Filmer all of Albuquerque. Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William R. Dickson. She was born in Arizona Territory to a pioneer family. Mrs. Dickson resided on Sandia Base for 17 years. She was active in PTA, Girl Scouts, the Alter Guild at St. John's, and was an avid bridge player. She was a talented seamstress, collected antique china and glass, loved to fish, and enjoyed music and sports. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains will take place in Phoenix, AZ. The family is grateful to the staff of St. Francis Place for providing care and a loving environment for her during the past two years.
