Harvey Alexander Lawler, 84, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1979 died Wednesday, October 7, 1998. He is survived by Ruby, his wife of 57 years; six children; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Robert C. Lawler and wife, Josephine of Cudahy, WI; and his aunt, Helen Gamroth of Crystal Lake, IL. Mr. Lawler was retired from Marquette University, in Milwaukee. He was a former member of the Rio Rancho Rock Hounds and the New Mexico Faceters Guild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho, (3906 19th Ave.), where he was a member. Reverend Si Budagher will officiate at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Rio Rancho First Baptist Church, or the American Cancer Association. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Sunrise Society, (891-8200).
