Georgia McClure Walter, age 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday in a local nursing home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. Walter. She is survived by her children, Robert Green of Albuquerque, Donna Anderson of Los Lunas, Harold Walter, Jr. of Hebron, IN, Howard Walter of Crete, IL, Diane McFarland of Bonners Ferry, ID, Martha Ulmer of Romeoville, IL, Norman Walter of Albuquerque, Lorajean Humelsine of Albuquerque; two brothers, Wayne Mann of Fort Pierce, FL, Guy Mann of Three Oaks, MI; three sisters, Jane Lineberry of McLeansboro, IL, Helen Hall and Maud Glatz, both of Mt. Vernon, IL; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends. She was a longtime member of the Valencia County Republican Womens Club. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, with Pastor Harry Chapman of Westside Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Family Hospice, 8804 Washington NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
