Obituary for Brady

Sarah C. Brady, 74, beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 27, 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Brady; son, Joseph Brady, infant son, Matthew; her parents, Juan and Julia Chavez; brothers, Benny, Eloy and Richard Chavez; sister, Rosie Soto; brothers and sisters-in-law, Anadine Brady, Bonnie Tully, Vic and Josephine Lopez, Paul and Elsie Tafoya, Ike and Eva Brady and Sam Brady. She is survived by two sons, Michael and Lawrence Brady, both of Albuquerque; four daughters, Debora Hood and husband, Jeff of Rio Rancho, Lorraine Snodgrass and husband, Kim of Flagstaff, AZ, Frances Montoya and husband Felix of Rio Rancho, Anna Romero and husband, Robert of Algodones, NM; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Chavez and wife, Della, James Chavez and wife, Bessie, Patricio Chavez and wife, Susan, David Lee Chavez and wife, Viola; two sisters, Prescilla Torres and Bernadine Chavez. Also surviving are her brother and sisters-in-law, Roland Soto, Angie Brady, Gus and Emma Medina. Also surviving a very loving friend, Faye Korte; many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all whom loved and knew her. Visitations will be held for Sarah C. Brady this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th Street and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., SW.
