Obituary for Henry

Wilton Hershel Henry, 89, a resident of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 1998, at a local nursing center. Mr. Henry was born in Gatesville, TX and attended public schools in Merkel, TX and House, NM. He moved to Abilene from Belen three years ago. Mr. Henry worked as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Henry attended Glad Tiding Assembly of God while living in Abilene. He was preceded in death by two wives, Addie Jim Hedrick, whom he married in Clovis, NM and Josephine Butler, whom he married in Belen. Wilton is survived by his two daughters, Helen Estes of Abilene, TX and Ruth Carter of Roswell, NM; a step-son, Henry Clark Baisdon of Truth or Consequences, NM; one sister, Mozell Martin of Clovis, NM; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 17, 1998, 10:00 a.m., at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen. Wilton's nephew, Sherman Martin will be officiating.
