Obituary for Hidalgo

The family of Louie and Mary Hidalgo, 65 and 60 residents of Albuquerque, wish to apologize to anyone who went to the Mass of Louie on Friday. Mary L. Hidalgo passed away early Friday morning September 11, 1998 and the family decided to cancel his mass and reset on Monday so Louie and Mary would be at Mass together. Mary was born on August 9, 1938 in New Mexico. She was married to Louise Hidalgo, who passed away on September 8, 1998. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou Garcia and husband, Michael, Arlene Hidalgo and Kathy Angel Hidalgo and husband, Albert; two sons, Joseph Hidalgo and Juan Hidalgo; three sisters, Leandrita Lance and husband, Juan, Dolora Barela and husband, Victor and Rosie Urban and husband, Manuel, sister-in-law, Eslinda Sanchez; three brothers, Bert Anaya and wife, Peggy, Herman Anaya and wife, Amy and Oliver Anaya and wife, Dolores; 11 grandchildren, Louie, Monique, Anjelica, Dominic, Isaac, Chantel, Anthony, Star, Frankie, Destiny and Isaiah; one uncle, Abd Anaya and wife, Juanita. She was preceded in death by husband, Louie, a brother, Diego Sanchez, a sister, Irene Vigil two brothers-in-law, Pete Vigil and Neal Lance, two nieces, Gladys Lance and Angel Sanchez. Visitation will be Sunday September 13, 1998 from 10:30 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. Mass will be said on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6th and Copper. Interment for Louie and Mary will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors for Louie. Arrangements with Hillcrest Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd. 265-5959.
