Obituary for Maupin

David E. Maupin passed away September 5, 1998 at his home. His remains were cremated and interment has taken place in a private service in Belen at Terrace Grove. He was the son of Lucy Pope Maupin and Floyd Maupin. David joined the Navy at 18, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He retired as Chief Petty Officer, serving 23 years and received many commendations. "I will always remember you carrying me to church on your shoulder." Jean
