Luis O. Sanchez, 99, beloved husband, father and grandfather, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 8, 1998. He was born on April 13, 1899 to Garcia C. and Avelina Sanchez in Delia, NM; he was a parishioner of St. Edwin's Catholic Church; and was retired from the Guadalupe County Public School system. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Frances S. Sanchez of the family home; two sons, Louis and wife, Rita of Albuquerque, Robert S. and wife, Fonda L. of Bernalillo; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and those who knew him. Visitations will be held today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at St. Edwin's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m., also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt.
