Obituary for Mcmillin

David Andrew"Andy" McMillin, 79, a resident of Peralta for the past 15 years and formerly of Albuquerque, died Saturday, September 5, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Opal, of the family home: daughter, Marian Martinelli and husband, Joe of Albuquerque; sons, Robert McMillin and wife, Norma of Napoleon, MO, David McMillin and wife, Velma of Otterville, MO, Walter McMillin and Lynn of Casper, WY and Harold McMillin and Chrys of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren, Scott, Robin, Belinda, David Jr., Amy, Cher, Stephanie, Michelle, Nicole, Jamie, Corrin, Sarah, Jessica and Dana; and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. McMillin retired from Southeastern Public Service in 1983. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, bowler and gardener. He was a member of the American Bowling Congress (ABC) and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was Past Commander of the VFW in Kansas City and a member of the NRA. Andy ran a small bait and tackle supply company, OMAC, from his home for the last 15 years. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplin Col. Lemuel Boyles, USAF, Ret., officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Wade Kendall, Lowell Christenson, Bill Merrick, Ron Smith, Al Seery and Max Lucero. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
