Obituary for Parra

Hilario Parra, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was devoted to his family and his Lord. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Isabel; five sons, Joseph and wife, Nellie, Steve and fiancee Lydia, James and wife, Denita, Nick, and Joseph and wife, Lorena Parra; two daughters, Pauline and husband, Jim Clements, Sylvia and husband Bernard Tye; two brothers, Jose and Bernard Parra; three sisters, Sr. Juanita of Colorado Springs, Carmelita, and Sylvia Parra; a special niece, Cathy Parra; a special uncle Teodulo Parra; and 16 grandchildren, Genny, Andrew, James Jr., Joseph, Jesica, Bernadette, Sandy, Robert, Rachel, Monica, Katrina, Ali, Samantha, Sonrisa, and Sara. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at the Holy Family Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at the Holy Rosary Church at 7:00 p.m. Visitations will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Quality Continuum Hospice at 2625 Pennsylvania NE 87110. Funeral services arranged by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 3rd SW.
