Carmen S. Lorigo, 75, of McIntosh, NM, passed away Friday, September 4, 1998 in McIntosh, NM. She was born February 27, 1923 to Procopio and Amanda Sanchez in Belen, NM. She married George Lorigo, April 5, 1986 in Albuquerque, NM, he survives her of the home. Carmen was a resident of McIntosh, NM for 12 years, formally of Albuquerque, NM. Carmen was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. Survivors include her husband, George Lorigo of McIntosh, NM; Seven sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Polly Silva of Albuquerque, NM, Daniel Silva of Albuquerque, NM, Johnny and Carmen Silva of Albuquerque, NM, Ricky and Yvonne Silva of Albuquerque, NM, Jerry and Jannette Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM, and Greggory Shuman of TX; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Ray Gutierrez of Albuquerque, NM, Anna and Jason Frame of WV, Debbie and Gary Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM; three brothers and sister-in-laws, Pete and Rose Sanchez, Val and Mary Sanchez and Lupe and Alice Sanchez; two step-brothers, Henry and Tony Cuellar; two sisters, Beatrice Carriaga and Ernestine Vigil; 30 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren. The Rosaries will be recited Sunday and Monday, September 6 and 7, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 8, 1998 at 9:00 a.m., also at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, with Father Johnny Lee Chavez officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarity, NM. Pallbearers will be Arthur Silva, Raymond Silva, Jordan Silva, Orlando Sanchez, David Perea, and Edward Silva. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Sanchez, Christopher Sanchez and Dennis Silva. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarity, NM.
