Obituary for Hunt

Robert G. Hunt, 66, passed away Friday, September 4. He was born May 6, 1932 in Salida, CO and moved with his family to Albuquerque in 1940. He attended Albuquerque Public Schools and served with the 1st Marine Division in Korea. He retired from Mt. Bell Telephone in 1983 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons, Greg Hunt and wife, Alberta of Tijeras, Bruce Hunt and fiancee, Kathleen Kelleher of Santa Clarita, CA; two granddaughters, Melissa Nichole and Jennifer Marie; sisters, Margaret Rohde of Longmont, CO, Myra Springer of Pensacola, FL, Joy Whitcomb of Redding, CA, Peg Duddleston and husband, Joe of Albuquerque, Joan Victor of Vancouver, WA; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, September 7, 1998, at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 1998 at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Rev. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Martinez, Weldon Sewell, Doug Shawn, Greg Hunt, Bruce Hunt and Scott Grommes. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
