Richard (Raschid) S. Faris was born on August 26, 1952. On Friday, September 4, 1998, he went to be with our Lord, at the age of 46. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Faris and his daughter, Elizabeth Ann. He is survived by his mother, Sophie (Koury) Faris of Albuquerque; sons, Richard, Christopher, Jake, Kameron, Kody, Kyle; daughter, Ashley; brothers Frank Faris and Michael Faris and his wife, Rhonda of Albuquerque; sisters, Camille Stueber and husband, John of Albuquerque, Sandy Lloyd of Seattle, Sheila Bernardoni and husband, Jim of Albuquerque and Shaylyn Graves and husband, Ricco of Seattle; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and one great-niece. Richard was a very generous and loving person and father and he had an excellent sense of humor and an uncomparable witt which he shared with everyone he met. Richard will be missed for these and many other qualities, but the family takes solace in the fact that Richard is enjoying the peace and joy that only heaven can offer. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 1998 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. The services will be presided over by Rev. Ron Mansdoerfer and Rev. Eddie Lee. After the service, the family will receive guests at 8914 2nd St. NW.
