Obituary for Baca

Margaret C. Baca"Nana", 87, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 1998. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Nana was such a loving, giving, caring and thoughtful person, always doing for others, family and friends. In spite of her own health problems, she always thought of others before herself. Her generosity of time, spirit, and faith was an inspiration to all who knew her. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Baca in June, 1997; and her grandson, Phillip in July, 1998; her brother, Eloy Romero; and one sister, Erlinda Sandoval, both of Los Lunas. She is survived by her three children, Consuelo Baca and her husband, Joe A. Baca of Los Lunas, Carlos Baca and his wife, Gloria C. Baca of Albuquerque, and Lila Tallon and her husband, Roger of Albuquerque. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Viewing will be held on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Romero Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited on Monday, 7:30 p.m., at the San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., also at the San Clemente Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Los Lentes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Carlos Baca Jr., Christopher Baca, Dennis F. Baca, David R. Baca, Paul Tallon and Dennis Sandoval, her nephew. Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
