Obituary for Kuffer

Virginia R. Kuffer, 77, of 124 Edgewood Drive, New Holland, died early Tuesday morning at Lancaster General Hospital. She had been ill since December. Mrs. Kuffer retired as a real estate agent/broker from West Side Realty, Albuquerque, N.M. Previously she had operated Mesa Enterprises, an Indian jewelry business. She moved to New Holland in December from Albuquerque, where she had resided since 1970. She had formerly lived in Dundee, Ill. She had been a docent at the Indian Cultural Center, Albuquerque. Born in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Harvey W. and Louise Simon Roland. She was the wife of Duane C. Kuffer, who died in 1986. Surviving are a son, Glenn R., husband of Nancy Stevens Kuffer of Mundelein, Ill; a daughter, Lynn G., wife of John B. Crego of New Holland; five grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey"Jim" Roland of Prospect Heights, Ill.
