Obituary for Womack

Chester A. Womack, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Saturday, May 9, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edith Womack of the family home; sons, Richard Womack and wife, Pamala of Elks, NV and Kenneth Womack and wife, Jennifer of Albuquerque; grandson, Brent Womack of Ketchum, ID; granddaughters, Joceyln Womack of Dallas, TX and Shelby Smith of Elks, NV; great-grandson, Jake Oien of Dallas, TX; and sisters, Marguerite Carroll of Ft. Worth, TX and Tricia Lou Toler of Irving, TX. Mr. Womack served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He retired from the Civil Service after 33 years. He was currently at Kirtland Air Force Base at the time of his retirement. Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE with Rev. Lemuel Boyels officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
