Ruby A. Jontz, a resident of Albuquerque since 1934, died Saturday, May 2, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Hines-Gunn and husband, Gordon of Albuquerque; and grandson, Dean C. Hines Ph.D and wife, Stefani of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene M. Jontz. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1934. Mrs. Jontz was a member of the Daughters of the Nile; member of Eastern Star; past Guardian of Job's Daughters Bethel #2 and was the first State Grande Guardian of Job's Daughters in New Mexico; and past President of Pi Beta Phi Mother's Club. Services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Paul Sackett, Tony Hidalgo, Chris Mobley, Greg Wilson, John Schuelke, and Faustin Archuleta. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 6600 Zuni SE 87108, or to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Inpatient Unit c/o Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, P.O.
