Mrs. Anna C. Sanchez, 93, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 2, 1998 at home with her loved ones at her side. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by one daughter, Lillian Edna Vigil and husband, Ben; two sons, Gene Sanchez and wife, Shirley, and Patricio Sanchez; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Sanchez; and a daughter, Agnes. Mrs. Sanchez was a member of the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel. She loved to crochet, giving her finished work to loved ones and friends. Visitation will be Friday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m., Father Ronald Bibeau will recite. Final visitation will be Saturday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., in the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, 333 58th St. NW, with Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Ronald Bibeau Officiant. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Sanchez, Leonard Sanchez, Gabriel Oritz, Robert Alarid, Brian Alarid, and Steven Sanchez. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
