Obituary for Rust

James E. Rust, 77, died Tuesday, August 4, 1998. A loving father of two and grandfather of ten, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nila Rust; sister, Vera Lockhart of Greentown, IN; daughter, Carolyn (Rusty) Mason and husband, Jim and their children, Mona Koermer and husband, Wes of Albuquerque and Mitchell Mason of Provo, UT; son, Kenneth Rust and wife, Edi of Waxahache, TX and their children, Krista and Erika of Albuquerque, Jeremiah, Adria, Mikah, Dana, Joshua, and Ira, all of Waxahachie, TX. James was born in Howard County, IN and moved to Albuquerque in 1959, where he worked as a building contractor until his retirement in 1971. After retirement, James worked eight years as a volunteer for the Mobile Missionaries Assistance Program (MMAP), where he put his contractors knowledge to work building for worthy charitable organizations. Failing health eventually forced him into retirement again. The Rusts attended Los Altos Nazarene Church, where memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Los Altos Church of the Nazarene , 215 Eribbe NE, 87123.
