John E. Grubbs, Sr., 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Saturday, October 31, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Grubbs of Albuquerque; daughters, Patricia Ann Berrey and husband, William, and Debbie Edge, all of Los Lunas, NM; sons, John Grubbs, Jr. and wife, Karen of Edgewood, NM, and Danny Grubbs and wife, Connie of Los Lunas, NM; grandchildren, Bobby, David, Danny L., Danny Jr., Kadee, Cody, Daysha, and Michael; mother, Martha Grubbs of Dallas, TX; brothers, Tillman Grubbs, Jr. and wife, Christine of Dallas, TX, and Jimmy Ray Grubbs and wife, Rosemary of Denver, CO; and sister, Ladoris Thurston and husband, Joe of Salem, NJ. He loved the great outdoors - hunting , fishing and camping and especially enjoyed golf. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
