Obituary for Jansak

Eugene Jansak, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 30, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Anne Christine Jansak of Albuquerque; daughter, Jan Diane Jansak of Albuquerque; son, Eugene Peter Jansak, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Longmont, CO; grandson, John Mark Bassist and spouse, Heather Jones of Jemez, NM; granddaughter, Joy Anne Bassist of Lakewood, CO; great-grandsons, David and Bryan Archell, both of Lakewood, CO; and brother, Paul Jansak and wife, Jane of Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Jansak arrived from Czechoslovakia at age 14. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Pennsylvania. During his career he was very active in politics in New Jersey. He retired in 1984 from a career as an engineering designer. Eugene provided photography instruction to seniors at the Palo Duro Senior Center and was an active volunteer in their activities, especially with the Intergenational Program and the Triad Program. Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca officiating. The family invites friends to a reception to be held after services from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place Tuesday, October 6, 1998 at Highland Cemetery in Thornton, CO.
