Obituary for Loudon

Mary Jean Loudon, age 78 and a resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years, passed away Saturday, September 26, 1998. Mrs. Loudon is survived by two daughters, Diane Edmonds and her husband, Jim of Belen and Jane Johnson and her husband, Kim of Albuquerque; one sister, Beth Hallatt and her husband, Jack; and a sister-in-law, Jeanne Reid, all of California; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She retired from the Albuquerque Public Schools in 1982 after teaching for 27 years. Mrs. Loudon was a founding member of the New Mexico Square Dancers Assoc., an avid gardener, and she enjoyed traveling. Following cremation, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, are in charge of arrangements.
