Chauncey G. Cole, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1921, died Friday, September 25, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Cole of the family home; son, Jerry Cole and wife, Betty Jane of Sun City, AZ; daughters, Helen Keso and husband, Everett and Roberta Ponto and husband, Robert, all of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert W. Cole of Sun City, CA; and sister, Peggy Poulsen of Albuquerque. Mr. Cole was a longtime employee of over 40 years of Albuquerque Publishing Co. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Rick Buss and Tim Thomassen officiating. Entombment will follow.
