James E. Wilcox, 68, a resident of Albuquerque for 27 years, passed away September 17, 1998 after a short illness. He retired after 44 years of employment with Yellow Freight System. He is survived by his wife, Zoe Wilcox; children, Ron Wemhoner and wife, Darnell, Jan Barnes and husband, Lyle, Ginny Wilcox, Shirley Wilcox, Susan Smith, Jim Wilcox and wife, Vanessa; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; family and friends who loved and will miss him. A memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church, 2804 Lomas NE, at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 1998. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the American Cancer Society.
