Obituary for Trujillo

Abraham Antonio Trujillo, 84, a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a longtime resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 1998. Abraham was born April 30, 1914, the son of Maxmiliano and Ignacita Roybal Trujillo in Chico, NM. He had been a coal miner for the Phelps Dodge Co. before retiring. Abraham was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Josephine V. Trujillo in July of 1997. He is survived by his six children, Fred Trujillo and wife, Bonnie of Bastrop, TX, Joanna Nilsen and husband, Sonny, Eloise Dominguez and husband, Wilfred, all of Albuquerque, Sam Trujillo and wife, Terri of Winters, CA, Susan Chavez and husband, Moises of Albuquerque, and Thomas Trujillo and wife, Flora of Los Alamitos, CA; one sister, Adelina Chene of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Lois Trujillo of Manis, VA; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho on Sunday, September 20, 1998. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, September 21, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with the interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Chacon, Jerry Peralta, Roberto Chene, William Dominguez, Shane Lukesh, and John Jones. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
