The Consulate of Mexico would like to inform that Consul Estela Gutierrez Chavez passed away September 17, 1998 in Albuquerque. Estela was born on December 16, 1917 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a Consul of Mexico in Albuquerque from 1979 to 1981. After retiring from her commission, she decided to retire to Albuquerque. Memorial services for Estela will be Monday, September 21, 1998, 6:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home.
