A truly fine man left us suddenly Thursday morning, June 11, 1998. Richard D. Faulkner, 81, had lived in Albuquerque for 54 years, moving here from Newport News, VA with his young family. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jean; their son, David Faulkner; their daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Tom Slates; their grandson, Michael Faulkner, all of Albuquerque; and their granddaughter, Lisa Holder of San Marcos, TX. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Helen Faulkner of Franklin, Michigan. A small group of friends and family will gather Sunday, June 14 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the family home to celebrate his rich life.
