Obituary for Reynolds

Edward L. Reynolds was born May 20, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio to Edward and Clara E. Reynolds (deceased). Edward graduated from Eldorado High School in 1988. Edward became a member of the Israeli Church of Universal Practical Knowledge in 1991. During his seven years with the church, Edward became a nationally recognized priest and biblical scholar and lectured at many universities and high schools throughout the country. His belief in the World of God is illustrated in his life by his tireless example and zealous endeavor to bring Blacks and Hispanics to be one with the Lord. As a black activist, prophet, teacher, father, husband, brother, and friend to all he met, Edward L. Reynolds will most assuredly be remembered as an important figure of Black History and Progress. Edward also left an example to the business community by helping form Total Quality Management Security, which became one of the most competitive security companies in the southwest, working with many famous names and faces. He is survived by is father, Edward Reynolds; sister, Lisa Reynolds; and brother, Terrance, all of Albuquerque; and brother, Randy of Danville, IL. He also left to mourn three daughters, Sharahya, Ebony and Napashya; and a son, Isaac, in addition to two children, which preceded him in death, Willa and Banshanya, all of Albuquerque; maternal grandmother, Roxie Sorrell of Danville, IL. Also surviving is a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 1998, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 1998, 10:00 a.m., at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 1000 Broadway SE. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
