Obituary for O'caña

Randy Allen O'Caña, 33, a resident of Albuquerque for four years, died Friday, December 4, 1998. He is survived by his mother, Margaret O'Caña; sister, Pamela O'Caña and husband, Leo Polanco, all of Albuquerque; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy J. O'Caña. Mr. O'Caña was a brave and courageous person during his battle with Lupus over the past 17 years. His hobbies included working on his computer, cooking, and going to the movies. Mr. O'Caña was loved and admired by many and will be sorely missed. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis reciting. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas NE, with Father Francis Eggert, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Russell Brito, S/Sgt. Mark Roberts, Michael Hasty, Brian Martinez, Larry Martinez, and Lorenzo Olivas. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to time of Rosary.
