Obituary for Siler

Lorraine K. Painter Beel Siler, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1982, died on Sunday, November 22, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Woodrow Siler of the family home; daughters, Karen Melfi of Albuquerque, Patricia Murphy of Stevensville, MT, and Pamela Brown and husband, Dwight of Albuquerque; son, Thomas Painter of Albuquerque; daughter, Susan Peterson and husband, Bob of Albuquerque and Laurie Pace of San Diego, CA; and thirteen grandchildren. Mrs. Siler was a teacher and taught at each grade level during her teaching career. She taught emotionally handicapped children for ten years in Palo Alto, CA. She was a member of A.A.U.W., Pi Lambda Theta, Alpha Delta Kappa, and Delta Kappa Gamma. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, November 30, 1998, 10:30 a.m. at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE, with Father Albert J. Podvin celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lovelace Hospice, 4145 Montgomery Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
