Bernadino (Bennie) Maldonado 58, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Saturday in a local hospital. Mr. Maldonado was born April 12, 1939 in Escabosa, NM to Pablo and Floripa Maldonado. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen of the family home; one son, Robert and wife, Tersita; two daughters, Theresa Gurule and husband, Matthew, Bernadette Maldonado; two granddaughters Danielle, and Sara Gurule. Also surviving are eight brothers, Louie, Morris and wife, Angie, Johnny and wife, Bobbie, Luciano, Porfilio and wife, Lydia, Ernest, Paul and wife, Patsy, and Florian Maldonado; one sister-in-law, Eva Bernal and husband, Ernest. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be today from 6:00 p.m. till time of the Rosary which will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Paul Maldonado, Johnny Maldonado, Florian Maldonado, Louie Maldonado, Porfilio Maldonado and Ernest Maldonado. Honorary bearers will be Morris Maldonado, Luciano Maldonado, Ernest Bernal, Chris Bernal. For Floral assistance please call 243-5222.
