Rev. W."Winn" Erdman, age 87, of Las Cruces, died Thursday, December 9, 1999 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born January 22, 1912 in Quincy, Illinois to Walter and Julia Winn Erdman. Rev. Erdman was a Presbyterian Minister who served as a missionary for 30 years in Mexico and also had a long history of ministering in different areas of New Mexico. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Erdman of Las Cruces; four sons, Winn Erdman of Placitas, Charles Erdman of Mexico City, Mexico, James Erdman of Mead, WA, Daniel Erdman of Albuquerque; and two daughters, Julia Atkinson of Durango, CO and Marian Dyer of Littlerock, AR. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 15, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 200 E. Boutz Rd., Las Cruces, with Pastor John C.
