Obituary for Hawkins

Edmond Harold Hawkins Sr. 71, a resident of Rio Rancho, died Thursday, December 9, 1999. He is survived by his wife, M.Delle of Rio Rancho; children, Edmond Hawkins Jr., Twila Morris, Andria Gamble, Patricia Hawkins, Carlotta Walton and Gilda Cooper; 16 grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Deborah Gibson; four great-grandchildren, including special great-granddaughter, Kayla Gibson; brothers, Rev. James Hawkins and Raybon Hawkins; sisters, Dr. Vivian Robinson and Marjorie Small; a host of family and friends; and special cousin, Rev. J.D. Felker. Mr. Hawkins was a member of Phillips Chapel CME Church and served his country for over 21 years in the U.S. Army. He was Worshipful Master of the Vision Lodge (U.D.P.H.A.) of Rio Rancho and Treasurer of Luxor Temple Shrine #202. Services will be held Thursday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Chapel-C.M.E., 1401 Edith Blvd. SE with Rev. William Dorn and Rev. J.D. Felker officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
