Obituary for Conrow

Betty J. Conrow, 73, succumbed to numerous longtime afflictions at her home in Rio Rancho on December 2, 1999. She was attended by her husband of 54 years, Russell C. Conrow; and her lifelong friend, Thelma Miller of Denver, CO. Betty and her husband served as a family in the military service for our country for 24 years, including a stay in Japan. She has donated her body to the University of New Mexico Medical School for organ harvesting and research. It is her wish that there be no funeral or memorial service. All cremated remains will be interred in the Santa Fe National Cemetery when the research is completed. She is survived by her husband; son, Bruce W. Conrow and his wife, Marie of Rio Rancho; granddaughter, Christina Hetmer and her husband, Michael; great-grandson, Kory; grandson, Matthew A. Conrow; son, Paul L. Conrow of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Rose Beebee of Pacifica, CA; grandsons, Brian, Jason, John Armitage; granddaughter, Marisa; uncle, Cleo M. Cowell of Hemet, CA; Mr. Donald Cowell (deceased), his wife, Marilyn and family of Des Moines, IA, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Cowell and family of Waterloo, IA, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Cowell and family of Waterloo, IA. She is now at peace. Memorials to Betty may be made in her name to Hospice, Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 26666, Albuquerque, NM 87125-6666.
