Tommy B. Semarge, 71, an Albuquerque resident since 1947, died Wednesday, December 15, 1999. Mrs. Semarge is survived by her sons, Ronald Semarge and wife, Cindy of Manhattan, KS, Thomas Semarge Jr. and wife, Carol of Washington, DC and Perry Semarge and wife, Bettie of Bernalillo; daughters, Ellen Stern and husband, Ken and Beverly Marquis and husband, Richard, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Renee, Melanie, Jonathan, Matthew, Ryan, Jeffrey, Megan and Jessica; great-granddaughter, Rebecca; brothers, Louis Buenabenta and wife, Josie of Bernalillo and Manuel Benta of Mountainair, NM; special nephew, Jack Herrera and wife, Odelia of Costillo, NM; aunt, Lucretia Chavez; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Semarge Sr.; brothers, Joe Benta and Tony Benta; and a sister, Caroline Savage. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 1999, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Alex Trujillo reciting. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 20, 1999 at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE, with Father Arkad Biczak, Celebrant. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
