Obituary for Brown

Leon Brown, 64, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, December 15, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Jean Brown of the family home; children, Charlotte Garcia and husband, Mike of Albuquerque, Bill Brown and Barbara Crain of Los Lunas, and Dale Brown of Albuquerque; brothers, James Brown and wife, Earline of Bloomfield and Charles Brown and wife, Nancy of Navajo Dam; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. Mr. Brown was a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union #611 for 42 years. He was an Electrical Inspector with the State of New Mexico for 27 years and retired in December, 1997. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Lemuel M. Boyles officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
